Addo Elephant National Park
Addo Elephant National Park
Addo Elephant National Park is located 73 kilometers north of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. It is one of the few wilderness paradises in Africa. You will see many large and gentle animals here, and it is the third largest wildlife park in South Africa.
The original part of the park was opened in 1931 to provide sanctuary for the 11 remaining species of elephant in the area. It is currently home to up to 450 elephants and a large number of other mammals. There are also vast seas in the park, including Santa Cruz Island, Bran Island and Yali Island, among which Yali Island is a paradise for birds, while Santa Cruz Island is the habitat of African penguins.
In Addo Elephant National Park, you can see not only land animals such as elephants, South African buffaloes, lions, zebras, redbucks, rhinos and female warthogs, but also marine animals such as great white sharks and southern right whales. This means that the Addo Elephant National Park has the seven giants of Africa, each with its own style, and it is extremely exciting, and it is also one of the few in the world. Very few.
