Union Building
The Union Building is the seat of the South African government and the presidential palace, so it is also called the presidential palace. This is an imposing granite building. Designed by Sir Herb Baker. It is like a huge amphitheater, exuding infinite solemnity and style. Its magnificence ranks among the best among similar buildings in the world. The Union Building is located on a hill overlooking the city in Pretoria. In front of the building is a neat and beautiful garden with various monuments and bronze sculptures of former South African President Mandela.
